Vows:

What are the vows?
Vows are the defining characteristic of consecrated life.  A Vow is a free and deliberate promise made publicly to God.

The Vow of Poverty:
Living the vow of poverty, we freely choose to live simply and in poverty, freeing ourselves from attachment to things in order to acquire a greater ability to love God and our brothers and sisters, witnessing to all that our highest priority is the Kingdom of God.

The Vow of Obedience:
Living the vow of obedience, we freely choose to dedicate ourselves completely to carrying out the Will of God, following the example of the Lord Jesus, who made His own will one with the Fathers.

The Vow of Chastity:
Living the vow of chastity, we freely choose to consecrate ourselves to God with an undivided heart, living for Christ alone, and seeking to please Him in everything.
